In my almost forty years of playing guitar I've owned quite a few. Every brand from Martin, Gibson, Fender, Alvarez, Cordoba, Squier, Ibanez, Alvarez, Sigma, Washburn, Epiphone, Seagull, etc... I currently accept and accept had many guitars in the past and I have never seen a guitar as beautiful and well fabricated as the Zager ZAD900CE particularly as inexpensive equally it was. When I first received this guitar in the mail, I excitedly opened up the box and pulled out the nicely cased guitar. After looking through all of the extras that came with the guitar, I finally opened the case to encounter a work of art. My jaw literaly dropped open and and then a big smile came beyond my face. After admiring the workmanship and quality forest that were used, I finaly got ready to play it. Being delivered during winter on a UPS truck, I was all ready to melody it upward first. To my utter suprise it was in perfect tune. I played it for quite a whlie earlier I could force my cocky to put it down. I take been playing the guitar for weeks and it hasn't gone out of melody yet. I have never seen a guitar with such perfect setup to stay in melody so long. The tonation is spot on no matter where I become on the cervix. Granted I don't thrash the guitar when I play. I'1000 a soft methodic strummer and picker as Dennis stresses in his videos. I could realy go on for hours how unique this guitar feel is. It's prophylactic to say that I don't beleive I volition e'er come across a effectively guitar than my Zager ZAD900CE in my life time.

How does this guitar compare with your erstwhile guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
It plays much easier and sounds better than my Yamaha. The merely thing my old guitar has over the Zager is age (xxx+ years), and I am sure my Zager will also audio better with historic period.

My guitar arrived final night. I followed the instructions and let information technology sit at room temperature for 2 hours before opening it (longest 2 hours of my life). I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was by and large all the same in tune despite the fact that it had sat in a cold commitment truck for who knows how long (most of the day I am guessing) and only needed some minor adjustments. Since it was belatedly and I had to go up the next morning for work, I had planned to just play it for a few minutes then go to bed. I ended up playing it for over an hour and had to force myself to put it up and go to bed. I must say that this guitar lives up to all expectations. Not only is it the easiest guitar I have always played, it has the nearly beautiful tone that I know will just improve with historic period. With my hands starting to develop arthritis I have been frustrated with my playing. I almost never got my guitar out anymore, and when I did, I would ordinarily put it upward after 20 - thirty minutes in frustration. Information technology hurt to play and I institute myself muting strings that I never used to. Barre chords were especially difficult for me. I tin can honestly say that I had no problems with muting strings and even barre chords were a breeze. I could accept played far longer than I did last nighttime with little discomfort. Thanks to this guitar, I am actually enjoying playing again! This evening I got out my Fender Passport and plugged in. I was anxious to hear how the electronics sound. I have to say it sounds just equally skillful plugged in as it does standalone. I love the congenital-in tuner! Thanks to you and your dad for making playing guitar fun again!

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars yous've tried in stores?
It is much smaller than the total size Jasmine accoustic I had, only I wanted a smaller guitar. And, what is and then pleasing, although smaller, it has a wonderful full deep sound. It truly is amazing for a smaller guitar.

How does this guitar compare with your sometime guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
My Zager is the ZAD20EVS model. As seen in the moving picture, it is a cutaway model and not the same body style shown on their website. The quality of my guitar is top-notch. I have been playing for 20 years, and have owned many acoustics including Yamahas, Guilds, Taylors, Alvarez, Ibanez and recently a Martin. The build quality and the electronics compare very favorably with whatever of them. I have recommended Zager to my friends.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
Aside from its playability, the beauty of the terminate is awesome. I've always loved a sunburst finish, and this i is gorgeous.
If yous didn't know the toll of this guitar what would yous estimate the price to be?
If this guitar were sold retail in a brick and mortar outlet, it would likely be priced in the $720 - $900 range. That includes a professional person-quality, padded, hard vanquish case.

I've never had better anywhere. My emails are answered in an hour or less. All of my questions are thoroughly answered.

I have recommended it to others. I liked the idea of finding a quality guitar that is non i of the same old brand names that everyone owns. That makes the guitar special. Zager's return guarantee cinched the bargain for me.

My order was upgraded with no additional cost. The body manner I wanted was non bachelor, so I had to wait a petty longer, and eventually got the cutaway dreadnaught instead, with better electronics, and the more expensive example. Worth the await!

I have an older Gild and a Taylor mini, I wanted something smaller to travel with, as well as a smaller guitar that would exist easier to handle.

I purchased a Fender Jimmy Dale Kingman SCE earlier this year. I was extremely disappointed in the workmanship, quality and sound. I ended replacing the nut, saddle, pins with TUSQ and put on Martin Silk and Steel strings to aid amend the sound (which I did based upon Denny Zager's recommendation). Prior to purchasing, I looked at Tanglewood, Martin and Taylor guitars at my local guitar shop. I purchased the ZAD20CEOM and couldn't exist happier with the rich audio, quality and craftsmanship.
What's your favorite part virtually this guitar?
I have short fingers and big palms, which is a bad combination for a guitar player. I selected the orchestra size based upon Denny'due south recommendation and I could not be happier. The guitar but "fits" in my paw. I beloved the sound, the beautiful forest tone and the inlay on the cervix. I am looking frontwards to many years of playing and my next Zager purchase!

I purchased the ZAD20E - Sunburst and information technology is everything and more than Dennis and Denny talk about in their online videos. I own several acoustic and electric guitars - Primarily been a Fender owner - This is the best acoustic guitar in my collection.

The playability & audio is the best in my collection - Frankly this guitar is a piece of art both visual & sound!
If you lot didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the toll to be?
If I would have picked this guitar up in the music store and began playing - I would accept guess the price tag exist anywhere from $1,200-$2,000. It most definitely compares to Martin Acoustic Guitars without question!
How would you rate client support?
The customer service is top notch! I spent over a week emailing Dennis Zager, Jr. with questions/concerns and each electronic mail was returned within an 60 minutes at most - Most of the fourth dimension he responded within minutes - It was better client service than if I where in a music shop confront to face with a sales associate. The guitar was shipped within a mean solar day of buy and received within a few days - It was packaged exactly every bit demonstrated in the online video - Conspicuously with the upward almost care in heed.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you lot've tried in stores?
I'g non a 'wood-sniffer.' If a 'less expensive' guitar meets my needs and wants, why buy a slice of overpriced wood considering it has "Martin" on information technology? I do accept a 1975 Gibson J-55 which is my favorite guitar in all means. Only in the stores, I can't tell a PRS from a Luna from a Martin. I doubt 99% of people out there tin.

Information technology's warmth. I had never played a cedar top guitar. The tones are magical. At outset I didn't similar it; it seemed a little heavy and dull. But as I played into information technology and it acclimatized, it sounded beautiful. I've already been offered coin and a trade, which I won't take.

I think I said before thousand to 1200. I underestimated that. My friends who've (I've immune...) to play it all price it in the $2000 area considering of the detail. I covered the logo and most thought it a Martin D-35.

Absolutely. Best blindside for your buck if you want a beautiful, groovy sounding guitar at a reasonable price. DON'T LET THE "Woods-SNIFFERS" in the music stores influence you. Or your friend who but spent a fortune on a Martin and of COURSE thinks it'south the 'greatest sounding guitar on the planet.' Yes, tone forest matter on acoustic guitars. Just these are very nicely built with quality woods! They but won't bump the price $2000 considering of hype and advertisement.

I waited a while to post some other review. After I 'played in' the guitar, I find it's my "go-to" now. Sounds great, looks great, and the damn thing is ALWAYS in tune when I take it out of the case! Thanks guys. regards to Denny Sr. and the remainder.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
I have a really dainty 25th aniversary Alvares that I have enjoyed for years. I'm amazed how much better my Zager sounds.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The width of the neck (I have large fingers) and the fact that I don't have to printing the cord every bit hard to make clear notes.
